Reading Order
Are the Love Stories a series? Well, that depends on your definition. Do they have the same group of characters in every book? No.
Every three books share the same group of characters, and then someone's relative or friend sparks the next set of three. In other words, certain books are interrelated.
Do you have to read them in order? No. Most people don't. Each Love Story is a standalone. You will probably have better insight into the progression of relationships if you start with the first book of a set of three, but you won't be lost.
Sets of three share similar covers. Read the blurbs. Grab what you want and skip the others if the storyline isn't your thing.
Are there cliffhangers? No. Would I do that to you?
Do they have dominant romance tropes? Of course. You'll find friends-to-lovers, second-chance, a few forced proximity, fish-out-of-water, and opposites-attract in my books. I've yet to manage a fake relationship, but I'm working on it.
What do all the books have in common? The feel.
They are all centered around a small town. Some characters venture out, but the story's anchor is a northern California coastal town. They are all slow-burn, door-cracked, with varying degrees of angst.
I've been told my dialogue is "sharp and witty," and my characters are "people you want to hang out with who have real obstacles." I've also been called "boring" and "sophomoric" to balance things out.
TL;DR:
Each Love Story can be read as a standalone. There are some shared characters throughout the books (siblings, friends, etc.) The book order so far is as follows:
Premiere
Candidate
Taste
Reserved
Stirred
Vacancy
Playbook
Exposure
Brew
Smooth
Tap
Blow
Catch
